THE QUESTION

Would a command node need a second one to actually work? No.

One operator, one base, one real roster — not a placeholder squad thrown together for a test. The soldiers deployed were the soldiers on file.

THE LOOP, SOLO

Deploy, fight, return — the whole sequence ran without needing anyone else involved at any point.

The campaign clock didn’t get paused for convenience or quietly reset while the mission ran. It picked up exactly where it left off, as if no time had passed outside the mission — because for the rest of the world, none had.

WHY IT’S BUILT THIS WAY

Every command node in this game is sovereign by design — that was never a co-op feature with a solo mode bolted on afterward, or the other way round. It’s the same architecture either way.

A commander playing alone isn’t a stripped-down version of playing with allies. It’s the actual baseline the whole model is built from. A second commander adds to it. The game was never depending on one showing up.

ANALYST NOTE

No second player was needed to confirm this works. That’s the point of this report.
